The Baltimore City BNBL (Boys and Girls Neighborhood Basketball League) is a community-based youth basketball program that provides organized competition for young athletes across Baltimore City recreation centers. The league focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating positive opportunities for youth through basketball. BNBL brings together players from different neighborhoods in a safe and structured environment while promoting recreation, mentorship, and community engagement.
All registration must be done online that includes team/coach information and payment and team rosters. Complete all forms and return with payment to: Division of Athletics (BNBL).

Franchise Fee (Non-refundable): $300 Youth and Unlimited TEAMS Youth Division (Male/Female), Fees will payed online at civicrec.com”. Fee must accompany the application registration.
Background Checks: Background checks are mandatory for all coaches, managers, and coordinators who participate in the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks Coaches Certification Program. For further information please contact Dale Smith at (410) 274-9588.
I.D. Information: All players must have one of the following ID cards that displays a photo and date of birth: Department of Recreation & Parks I.D. Card / Learners Permit, Maryland Driver’s License/State ID Card, Age of Majority Card.

MIDNIGHT HOOPS
Baltimore City Midnight Hoops is a free youth basketball program designed to provide a safe, fun, and competitive environment for young athletes. The program promotes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and community engagement while giving participants an opportunity to develop their basketball skills and stay active during evening hours.
Registation: 05/25/2026-06/25/2026
Age: 13U, 15U, 17U
Location: The Dome (Madison Square Rec)
Dates: July 11th - Aug 29th
Game Times:
13U - 4pm & 5pm (Fridays and Saturdays)
15U - 6pm, 7pm, & 8pm (Fridays and Saturdays)
17U - 9pm, 10pm, & 11pm (Fridays and Saturdays)
CRAIG CROMWELL BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Baltimore City High School Craig Cromwell Summer Basketball League is a competitive summer basketball program designed for high school student-athletes across Baltimore City. The league provides players with an opportunity to continue developing their basketball skills during the offseason while competing against strong local talent. It also promotes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and community engagement in a structured environment. The league serves as a great platform for players to stay active, gain game experience, and prepare for the upcoming high school basketball season.
Registation: 05/25/2026-06/25/2026
Age: High School Boys and Girls
Location: The Dome (Madison Square Rec)
Dates: July 7th - Aug 27th
Game Times:
High School Boys - 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, & 10pm (Mondy and Wednesday)
High School Girls - 6pm, 7pm, & 8pm (Tuesday and Thursday )
